Wolverhampton Wanderers – Fulham
Wolverhampton Wanderers faces Fulham at the Molineux in a match from the 4th round of the Premier League. Let’s take a look at it. Can Wolves finally rise again after a difficult spell?
Wolverhampton Wanderers started their Premier League season with a win against Sheffield United, but in the next two matches Nuno Santo’s team suffered two losses against Manchester City and West Ham United. We all know Wolves are better than this, so now we expect to see them raising the bar against the Cottagers on Sunday.
Last week Wolves suffered a disastrious defeat against West Ham at the London Stadium. Something went really bad for Wolverhampton as they conceded four goals in the capital. The 0-4 defeat was a serious food for thought for Nuno Santo that something is not going well at the moment.
Nobody can really argue that Wolverhampton Wanderers are a really good team. Maybe they are in some type of a crisis at the moment, but their next game is perfect for them to restore their confidence.
Fulham started the 2020/21 season exactly in the way they didn’t want to – with three consecutive losses in the first three matches. At this moment Cottagers are 20th in the table with 0 points and a negative 3-10 goal difference. Once again it’s going to be a difficult season for the club.
In their last game Fulham once again showed that maybe they are not really ready for the Premier League. The Cottagers hosted Aston Villa in London, but suffered a heavy 0-3 defeat at the Craven Cottage. The manager Scott Parker tried to make some changes regarding his team, but it didn’t work out once again. Fulham are going to be in the race for survival – there’s no doubt about this.
That’s our short preview for the Premier League game between Wolverhampton Wanderers and Fulham at the Molineux. Isn’t it a perfect chance for Wolves to get back to winning? We believe it is.
