Trabzonspor – Galatasaray

Trabzonspor hosts Galatasaray in a match from the 10th round of the Turkish Super Lig.

Galatasaray are the current leader in the league with 23 points and three points advantage in front of Istanbul Basaksehir. They are unbeaten since the start of the season and their record is seven wins and two defeats. In their last game the Istanbul giants made a wrong step against the big rival Fenerbahce, but they are still leaders in the Super Lig.

Trabzonspor are not doing too well since the start of the new campaign. They are 14th in the league standings with 9 points won so far and a record of two wins, three draws and four defeats. In their last five games they have not won a single match, which tells us that they are not in their best form at the moment.

Before the start of the new season Galatasaray were motivated to break Besiktas’ dominance and once again win the title. For now they are doing more than well. They are the only team in the league, who is still unbeaten since the start of the new season. They are winning on a regular basis and if they continue like this, they’d be very close to winning the gold medals. They just need consistency and their goal will be more than close to them.

Trabzonspor also started the campaign with big ambitions, but so far they are not playing their best football. They have won just twice since the start of the new campaign and this is not acceptable for them. They need to change some thing as fast as possible, if they want to achieve something more this season.

Although they are playing on a hostile ground, Galatasaray remain favourites to win against Trabzonspor. They are the better team and they are more confidend than their next opponents.
