Schalke 04 – Bayern Munich

Schalke 04 hosts Bayern Munich in the big derby of the second round of the German Bundesliga.

Schalke will try to bounce back after the defeat by Eintracht Frankfurt in the first round, which was a bad start of the new season for Markus Weinzieri’s boys. But now the test will be even bigger, because the powerhouse Bayern Munich is coming to town.

Bayern’s new manager Carlo Ancelotti couldn’t have a better start of his Bundesliga career. The Italian led Bayern to a 6-0 win over Werder in the first week of the league. Robert Lewandowski scored a hattrick, which was a sign that the Polish striker will once again terrorize defenses all over the way.

It’s a very intruging and interesting clash betweeen two very solid teams, who are going to aim for the top of the league. Bayern are favourites to get the three points, but Schalke is not a team which should be underestimated.
