Osmanlispor – Fenerbahce

Osmanlispor are hosting Fenerbahce in a game from the sixth round of the Turkish Super Lig.

It’s rather surprising that Osmanlispor are ahead of their next opponent in the standings so far. Osmanispor are currently at 7th place with 9 won points from five games played, which is a solid peformance for them since the start of the new season.

The situation is not so bright for Fenerbahce, though. They are one of the teams who are about to compete for the gold medals in the Super Lig, but Dick Advocaat’s boys are currently seven points behind the leader Besiktas. Something which is absolutely not okay for this club’s massive ambitions in the league.

In the last round Osmanlispor shared the points with Istanbul BB away from home, while Fenerbahce found some good rhytm in the league, winning two consecutive matches against Kasimpasa and Gaziantepspor. We are about to see if this kind of performance will continue in a third game in a row.
