Leeds United – Arsenal
Leeds United hosts Arsenal at the Elland Road in a game from the 9th round of the Premier League. That’s our preview for this fixture. Let’s get to work!
Leeds United need to step up their game after three losses in their last four matches in the league. Marcelo Bielsa’s team is currently 15th in the standings with 10 points won. The Peacocks are 7 points ahead of the 18th West Bromwich and the relegation zone, but they need to improve their performance.
Just before the international break Leeds suffered their 4th loss for the season. The Whites traveled to London to face Crystal Palace and got heavily beaten for a 1-4 defeat. Patrick Bamford managed to score once for the Peacocks, but Crystal Palace dominated the match.
Arsenal are also in a bad shape lately and they will be hungry for some success at the Elland Road. Just like their next opponent, the Gunners lost three of their last four matches in the league.
Before the break Arsenal offered a disastrious performance to their fans. Mikel Arteta’s team hosted Aston Villa at the Emirates, but got dominated and suffered a 0-3 loss. It was far from acceptable what they did.
After such a performance Arteta should make some changes. Players like Dani Ceballos, Granit Xhaka and Nicolas Pepe could return in the line-up. David Luiz is another option for the defense.
Arsenal’s manager Mikel Arteta promised the fans their favourite team will do better next time. It’d be a hard time for the Spanish coach if his boys lose again on Sunday.
That’s our preview for the Premier League game between Leeds United and Arsenal at the Elland Road. Here we have two teams which are eager to start doing better and get some positive results. The goal is absolutely the same here – winning all of the points.
