Arsenal – Manchester United

Arsenal hosts Manchester United in the big derby of the 15th round of the English Premier League.

Arsenal are currently 4th in the league standings, winning four of their last five games. They made a misstep only once during this period – losing their visit to the leader Manchester City. Arsenal’s main goal this season is finishing in the Top 4 and right now they are doing well. But in same time their advantage in front of the 5th Liverpool is just two points, so they need to stay consistent and keep winning on a regular basis.

Now Arsenal will have a serious test against Manchester United at the Emirates. As it stands now, Manchester United are Manchester City’s biggest contender for the title. The Red Devils are trailing on 8 points behind the Citizens, but they still have chances to attack the title. But if they want to do that, they should avoid any mistakes, because Manchester City are not doing any as well.

Just like Arsenal, Manchester United have four wins and one loss in their last five matches. In the last round of the league Jose Mourinho’s boys enjoyed a terrific win during the visit to Watford. They managed to beat a strong team and now their spirits should be high before the visit to the Emirates.

Arsenal remain without the services of Santi Cazorla, while Alexandre Lacazette is doubtful for the game with a groin injury. The good news for Arsene Wenger come from the recovery of Theo Walcott.

Manchester United are still sweating over the fitness of Nemanja Matic, Marouane Fellaini and Eric Bailly, who have different problems before the trip to London. Meanwhile Michael Carrick and Phil Jones are back in training and they are once again avaliable for selection.
