Juventus – Atalanta

Just few days after their dissapointing defeat against AC Milan, Juventus will host Atalanta at the Allianz Stadium in a game from the 32th round of the Serie A. Let’s take a look.

Juventus had a really rocky visit to the San Siro on Tuesday. Maurizio Sarri’s team had two goals advantage against Milan, but at the end they suffered a 2-4 defeat. Nobody really expected that the Rossoneri could return in the game in such a marvelous way, but they did it. Juve have some food for thought now.

Until the 62th minute everything was great for the Old Lady. Adrien Rabiot and Cristiano Ronaldo scored for the visitors, who had a good advantage. The problems came later when Milan scored four times and won the game.

Despite of the defeat Juventus are having a solid lead at the Serie A standings. The champions are 7 points ahead of the second Lazio, so there’s no reason to be nervous. Most likely the Bianconeri will win the title again, because we don’t really see how they are going to lose it.

Because of the nightmare in Milan, we won’t be surprising to see some rotations by Maurizio Sarri. Players like Chiellini, Alex Sandro, Matuidi and Douglas Costa could return in the starting eleven.

Atalanta are perfect in their last five games in which they recorded five wins. La Dea are once again going to play in the Champions League and that’s out of question at the moment.

In their last match Gian Piero Gasperini’s boys hosted Sampdoria in Bergamo and achieved a comfortable 2-0 win. They scored their goals in the last 15 minutes when Rafael Toloi and Luis Muriel put the ball in the net.

This is going to be a competitive game between Juventus and Atalanta on Saturday. Juve will try to do better than their last game, but Atalanta are merciless since the restart of the season.
